Oil, canvas +Photoshop (there wasn't violet and good blue paint to make everything as I wanted). Oil+canvas version is here [link]
There was a little story with this picture.. I wanted to climb the mountain Iremel (in Russia). I had come there and stayed to spent a night before climbing in my friend's house near the root of the mountain. And I've wounded my foot with rusty nail accidentally. I thoudht: "NP, I'll stay 2 days in the house before I'll can to climb" But next morning my poor foot has been scalded by boiled water accidentally too. It sounds so funny just now :) So I've got 2 wounds: from above and from below of the foot = I can't to climb. I'd stayed in the house near the root of the mountain and started to paint this picture, spent 12 days painting from morning to evening and ended it. It's large in reality, if I'll sit near this picture on the floor my head will be in the middle of picture. 2 wounds has been got not for nothing :)

Wow. Glad I came across this. Amazing. I'm a mandala fan too. I'm started to experiment with colour and this piece has really inspired me.

I love mandalas and this one is no exception. I don't know how to interpret the symbols but I know I love this piece!

It's creating of the world and the open-air festival like "Rainbow" at the same time. The eye-flower is in the middle, it's petals transforms into fire and people/ gods dancing around the bonfire, green grass/ the edge of planet and the tepee's tops seeking into Space and stars falling. Violet space=violet center of the Eye, the rainbow spectrum is closed= creating is infinitely.
